OLYMPICS FACTS..

MOTTO:
The Olympic motto is the hendiatrius Citius, Altius, Fortius ", which is latin for "Faster, Higher, Stronger".The motto was proposed by Pierre De Coubertin on the creation of the International Olympic Committee in 1894.
SYMBOL:
The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field. This was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games.Olympic symbol represents the union of the five continents and the meeting of athletes from throughout the world at the Olympic Games.


First Olympic games :
The first Games held under the auspices of the IOC was hosted in the Panatheniac stadium in Athens in 1896.These Games brought together 14 nations and 241 athletes who competed in 43 events.
